We support the development of media and digital literacy through games, tools, and public events. We help you make informed choices and navigate the rapidly changing world of information.
Situations like that show how easy it is to fall for manipulative content in an oversaturated information environment. Today’s information world is fast-paced, diverse, and often contradictory. We are exposed to a myriad of messages, which don’t always aim to inform us, but to influence us. False information, manipulative images, and AI-generated visual media are spreading faster than ever before and are capable of influencing our decisions, health, and sense of security.
Media Radar supports informed and safe engagement with the media environment by providing practical knowledge and tools to adults who speak other languages. Our goal is to give people the confidence to ask questions, analyse, and form their own opinions. Smart media consumption begins with awareness.
You will learn to distinguish between reliable and misleading information.
You will begin to notice manipulative tactics and ask questions at the right time.
You will learn to analyse who is creating a specific message and for what purpose.
You will protect yourself from false information and influence operations.
